Common Questions
How do I show or hide the panel?
Click the dooze icon in your menu bar. The panel floats at the edge of your screen and stays out of the way until you need it. Right-click the menu bar icon to snooze or hide the panel temporarily.
Why isn't dooze capturing my selection?
dooze needs Accessibility permission to read selections from other apps. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, and make sure dooze is enabled.
How do I use the browser extension?
The browser extension lets dooze work directly in Gmail, Notion, and other web apps. Install it from the Chrome Web Store, then open dooze — it will set up the connection automatically.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your content stays on your Mac. We don't store your text, screenshots, or clipboard data on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open dooze, go to Settings → Account, and click "Manage Subscription." This will take you to the billing portal where you can cancel anytime.
Something isn't working. What should I do?
Try quitting and reopening dooze. If the issue persists, email us at howdy@dooze.app with a description of what's happening. Screenshots help.
